Case Study
Granary Apartments, Cardiff
The Granary Apartments were completed on schedule in January 2007.
Built on the site of the Old Grain Stores adjacent to the docks the project was designed by Wigley Fox Architects who paid homage to the original building along the weston elevation giving a sense of the sites history whilst incorporating a thoroughly modern and innovative design that included an SFS stick-build apartment addition on the top floor.
The rest of the building was SFS infill which formed the external envelope to which the assorted finishes were restrained.
